The dielectric behavior of insulations is a key factor affecting the development anti-corona materials for generators. Epoxy resin (EP), as matrix, blended with inorganic fillers micron SiC and nano SiO2 to investigate effect micro doping on conductivity breakdown mechanism composites. Using experimental simulation analysis, it found that nano-SiO2 concentration related dispersion particles. lower could decrease increases raising critical value. Meanwhile, field strength composites decreases rising content in constant more when mixed invariable SiC. When an equivalent electric applied samples, at interface particles much stronger than average dielectric, close tunneling effect. density homopolar space charge bound surface stator bar elevates filled nanoparticles increases, by which effective Coulomb potential shield can be built inhibit further injection carriers from electrode interior layer, thus reducing accumulation layer well increasing dielectric.
